Prosegue la compilation del progressive made in US nei '70. Anche se non di primo piano, il movimento progressive degli states ha sviluppato un notevole quanto ragguardevole livello subendo nei primi anni '70 le ovvie influenze blues, per approdare poi nella seconda metà dei '70, a seguito l'influenza delle più blasonate band inglesi come Yes, Genesis e Gentle Giant, a sviluppare sonorità più sinfoniche aperte ad armonie strumentali più complesse.
Questa compilation, composta in totale da 16 CD, vuole rendere omaggio a tutte quelle band che con la loro passione ed impegno hanno dato lustro al genere musicale che tanto amiamo.
